Q: Is automated trading profitable?
A: Automated trading is only as profitable as your trading strategies. Any strategy can be profitable for the foreseeable future if risk is managed properly.
Q: Can BrokerBot connect to brokers other than Alpaca?
A: Currently, we do not offer support for other brokers. This is a feature we would like to add in the near future.
Q: If automated trading is so simple why does almost nobody use it?
A: The process of trading using algorithms is not a recent invention but, due to a lack of attainable consumer-grade solutions, has not been widely adopted by the public.
Q: What if I don't want to pay for TradingView pro?
A: We believe that every stock trader's most valuable tool is data. TradingView is a very powerful and convenient tools for traders which is why we recommend paying their subscription in order to access webhooks among other features.
Q: Will I get rich quick?
A: Probably not, our goal is to provide a tool for smarter and more convenient trading. Investing over long periods of time and reinvesting profits is the best way to make money in the stock market. Quick, high leveraged positions are a great way to lose all your hard earned money if something goes wrong.
